Canal breaches damage crops
NAWABSHAH, March 9: Three breaches developed in different channels of the Nusrat irrigation division on Thursday. A 35 feet breach developed at RD-62 of the Chhan Babu distributary near Serhari, damaging crops over 100 acres. Two breaches of 30 and 35 feet developed at RD-30 and RD-85 of the Shahpur distributary respectively. Wheat and other crops over hundreds of acres came under water.—BoC
