Two labourers killed in Daud Khel

KALA BAGH, March 9: Two labourers died and 9 others were seriously injured when the rack of a under construction block of the Maple Leaf Factory collapsed here in Daud Khel on Thursday.

Eleven labourers of Daskon engineering company were engaged in construction work of the said factory at a height of 50 feet when the rack where the workers stand suddenly dashed to the ground. As a result 11 labourers were seriously injured. Two of them later died while being rushed to hospital.

Those killed were identified as Abrar Alam and Muhammad Saeed. The Injured were shifted to hospital in Islamabad four of them in critical condition, hospital sources said. The deceased were buried in Dadu Khel local graveyard.—Online
