Hanrik slams hat trick

KARACHI, March 8: Hanrik slammed a hat trick to guide St Judes School to a magnificent 6-0 victory over St Peter and Paul School in the opening match of the Inter-school under-14 football tournament at CDGK Stadium on Wednesday.

His goals came in 31, 37, and 50th minutes.

John Shafiq, Aqeel Noman and Kamran Shera netted one goal apiece.

In the other match, St Patrik’s School notched up a 3-1 win over City School, North Nazimabad.

Salahuddin Khan, Islam Ahmed and Sylvestin Dean netted one goal each for the winners while Moiz Tariq reduced the deficit for the losers.

Twenty teams are competing in the tournament.

Today’s fixtures:

St Judges School v Prince Ali Boys School at 10:00am; St Monica’s School v Marium High School at 11:00am; St Lawrence School v St Francis High School at 12:00 pm.
