Rs250,000 phones looted


RAWALPINDI, March 8: Robbers looted a huge quantity of mobile phones from a shop in Ganjmandi, while three vehicles were stolen from different parts of the city on Tuesday, police said.

Javed Gul, the robbery victim, told the Ganjmandi police that three persons entered his shop and held him at gunpoint. They snatched 68 cell phones valuing at Rs250,000 and escaped.

Mohammad Mansoor’s car (RL-4640) was lifted from outside his house in the Airport police limits, while Yaqoob Masih’s car (RLC-1449) was driven away by thieves from the New Town police area. Faizul Hassan’s motorbike (RIV-5026) was stolen from New Town.—Staff Reporter
