Departure plan changed

LAHORE, March 4: A 64-member contingent of Pakistan will leave for Melbourne, Australia, from Lahore instead of Islamabad on Sunday night to take part in the Commonwealth Games to be held there from March 15.

The change in the schedule of departure was necessitated after the Islamabad Airport has been sealed off for all traffics due to the president USA Bush’s visit to Pakistan. The remaining part of 11 members will go next week.

The contingent is scheduled to arrive Lahore from Islamabad on Sunday’s morning, from where it will leave for Australia via Bangkok,Thailand.
