DADU, March 4: A large number of employees of the Public Health Engineering Department staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Friday demanding three months salaries to 7,000 employees.
They were led by the chief organiser of the Public Health Engineering Employees Union, Ghulam Nabi Channa, and organisers Mohammad Hashim Solangi and Abdul Majeed Abro.
Woman kidnapped: A married woman was kidnapped from Shahbaz Colony here on Friday.
Six armed men barged into the house of Jumo Mirjatt and kidnapped his wife Sughra, 25, at gunpoint. The Dadu town police, on the complaint of Jumo, registered an FIR against Nawab, Jansar, Mumtaz Lashari, Imdad Ali, Nawab Pathan and Mohammad Siddique Lashari.
