QUETTA, March 2: The information secretary of Jamhoori Watan Party, Senator Amanullah Kanrani, has welcomed the Dera Bugti visit of the Senate standing committee on human rights.

In a late-night statement on Wednesday, Mr Kanrani said that though 80 per cent people of Dera Bugti had left the area yet the remaining people would try to ensure protection of the visiting team on March 5.

The members of the committee would meet people and government officials to ascertain facts.
