Aftab shines for CAS
KARACHI, March 1: Hammad Aftab steered CAS School to victory over City School Gulshan Iqbal campus in the Inter-school basketball tournament which got underway at the Jinnah University court, Korangi the other day.
He shared 12 points as CAS beat their opponents 31-28 after enjoying 24-17 lead at the half time.
Hammad Zafar was the top scorer for losers with 10 points.
In another match, City School Darakshan campus edged out City School PECHS 40-27. The winners led 22-15 at lemon time.
Raja Jehanzeb was the most successful scorer with 16 points. Umer Mansoor scored 12 points for the losers.
The tournament is being played on the single league basis.
