LAHORE, March 1: DHA Club retained the national rugby title, thrashing Army 12-0 in the final at the DHA Stadium on Wednesday. Unlike their pool match against each other which ended in 22- 22 draw, the final proved to be a one-sided affair. Kashif opened the account for DHA with a try and conversion to earn seven points.

Jibran Malik also made a good move with Abubakr which helped DHA to make another try and completed the scoring.

Earlier, in the first semifinals Army outclassed Railways 31-0.

Wapda which remained unbeaten in the whole tournament, however, tasted their first defeat 19-7 at the hands of DHA in the second semifinals.

Wapda, however, earned third position beating Railways 33-5.
