PESHAWAR, March 1: The provincial government has announced that all government and private educational institutions, including universities, in the NWFP will remain closed on Friday (March 3), a notification to this effect was issued here on Wednesday.
POULTRY BAN: In order to protect people of Malakand district from bird flu, District Nazim Malakand has under section 144 CrPC ordered a ban on transportation/carriage of chicken from Charsadda and Mardan districts to the jurisdiction of Malakand district with immediate effect, adds APP. Action would be taken against violators of the ban under section 188 PPC.
