By Our Staf Reporter

RAWALPINDI, March 1: Four officials of Revenue Department have been held guilty in the inquiry conducted into the gutting of Tehsil Office Rawalpindi in November last year, while probe into the alleged corruption in Leh Nullah widening project is being conducted by the provincial government.

The report of the inquiry committee on the gutting of the Tehsil Office has been sent to the Board of Revenue and the police station concerned for further action.

City District Nazim Raja Javaid Ikhlas confirmed that inquiry into the Tehsil Office fire had been completed and four officials of Tehsil Office including tehsildar, gardawar and two others were held guilty. The report has been sent to the Revenue Department and the police station concerned for further action, he added.

“Police have been directed to review the facts of the inquiry report and take necessary action,” the nazim said.
