The IG has directed the DIG Special Branch to adopt strict security measures for the foreigners, particularly at the residences and offices of the Chinese nationals. The cell members would ensure checking of the arrangements made for the security of foreign nationals from time to time.

Jehangir Mirza issued orders that complete data should be collected by keeping in touch with foreign companies operating in the province regarding foreign nationals working for them, especially those coming from China so that effective security steps could be taken.

He also directed the Regional Police Officer Hyderabad and Additional IG Special Branch to ensure foolproof security during the international seminar to be held from March 3 to 13. The seminar is being organized by the World Association of Flower Arranger, which would be attended by delegates from the USA, Britain, Italy and Canada.

In this connection, Jehangir Mirza directed to adopt extraordinary security measures at roads from Quaid-i-Azam International Airport to the venue of seminar, residences of foreign guests and places to be visited by the guests during their stay. —APP
