Oil prices rise
LONDON, March 1: World oil prices climbed on Wednesday on persistent worries over global supplies, particularly from Nigeria, despite news of healthy crude stockpiles in major consumer the United States.
The main New York contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, added 39 cents to $61.80 per barrel in pit deals. In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude for April delivery won 31 cents to $62.07 per barrel in electronic trade.
