Mahrukh excels

LAHORE, Feb 28: Mahrukh Hanif of Government High School, Sanat Nagar, Lahore won the Inter-school girls cycling championship on Tuesday. Mahrukh won both the events of the contest. In 333m time trials, Mahrukh completed the distance in 37.70secs to claim top position. Rabia of Government High School, Charrar, Lahore clocked 37.84 secs to seize second spot followed by Humaira Ilyas, who covered the distance in 39.83secs. Mahrukh also excelled in the 666 metres pursuit romping home in one min 12 secs while Rabia again came in second with a timing of one min 15.28secs.
