Sana, Mariam excel in final

LAHORE, Feb 28: Fine batting by Sana Javed and a good all-round performance by Mariam Butt helped Crescent Club clinch the Lahore Inter-district women’s cricket championship with a 93-run win over Garrison College in the final at the Govt College Ground on Tuesday.

Sana hit a whirlwind 65-ball 83 with the aid of nine boundaries and two sixes while Mariam scored 46 as Crescent Club piled up 179-7 in 25 overs. The pair added 92 for the fifth wicket.
