OEC gets new MD; 19 officials promoted
ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: Senior Joint Secretary, Interior Ministry, S M Junaid has been appointed managing director of the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), official sources told Dawn on Tuesday.
The grade 21 senior joint secretary would replace Masoodur Rehman. Meanwhile, five 19-grade officials in Income Tax Group have been promoted to the post of Commissioner Income Tax (BS-20).
According to a notification issued by the Central Board of Revenue, S Ijaz Hussain has been promoted as Commissioner Income Tax (legal) Northern Region, Islamabad, Imtiaz Ahmad Barakzai as CIT Karachi, Shahid Hussain as CIT (legal) Central Region Multan, Fiza Muzaffar as CIT (appeals), Faisalabad and Mustafa Ashraf Tabassum as CIT, Sahiwal Zone, Central Region Multan.
