KARACHI, Feb 28: The 16th Pakistan International Education Exhibition will commence at the Karachi Expo Centre from March 5. This was announced by the Director of World learning Bureau (WLB), Rashidul Haque, while speaking at a news conference at a local hotel on Monday.

The deputy director of British Council, Ms Samina Khan, and Education UK Manager of British Council, Shamez Mukhi, were also present on the occasion.

The two-day event in Karachi is being organized by the WLB with the support of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and departments of education of Sindh and Punjab.

Mr Haque said that the Sindh governor had been requested to inaugurate the event in Karachi. He stated that an international conference on education would also be held in Karachi on March 6.

The event will later be organized in Rawalpindi and Lahore from March 8 to 12.—APP
