Kite string kills student

LAHORE, Feb 26: A college student was butchered by kite string in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Sunday. This is the second killing in less than a week.

A resident of Chuhng, Siraj Din, told police that his son Nadeem Pasha, 18, had gone to a park in Gulshan-i-Iqbal where he met with the accident. He said his son had just left the park on his motorcycle when a kite string cut his throat. He died in hospital.

His body has been returned to the family without autopsy.

On Feb 19, Mahnoor, 3, was killed by string while sitting on a motorcycle.
