PESHAWAR, Feb 25: The NWFP government on Saturday alloted 17 kanals of land for the Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company to construct two skill development centres in the earthquake-hit district of Batgaram.

A tripartite agreement was signed here by the ministry of trade, industries and mineral development, TUSDC and PIDC.

TUSDC is already constructing eight training centres for skill development in quake-hit areas of Batgram, Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Bagh.

The signing ceremony was attended by provincial Minister for Mineral Development Mohammad Ayaz Khan, additional chief secretary Ghulam Dastagir, provincial secretary for industries, trade and mineral development Ehsanullah Khan, chairman TUSDC Almas Haider and chief executive of the PIDC Abdul Bari Khan. — Online
