KARACHI: JSQM man taken away

KARACHI, Feb. 24: The General Secretary of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Dr Safdar Sarki, was taken away by unknown armed men in plainclothes from his apartment in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Friday morning.

According to the family sources, several armed men came to his apartment in Noman Heights on main Rashid Minhas Road and took away Dr Safdar at gunpoint. However, police have denied the arrest.

TAKEN AWAY: Unknown armed suspects took away scrap from two decks anchored near Manora.

Manager of a private company lodged an FIR stating that scrap was taken away by four armed suspects from two decks which were undergoing repairs.
