KARACHI, Feb 24: Two ships to load cement and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships, Jaru, Qc Wisdom, Mac Aandresew Swal, Corin Thaikos to unload and load containers, Lilac to offload oil, Win Eagle and Multan to unload general cargo were berthed.

Seven ships, Iran Kordestan, Y.M.Star, Jaru Bhum, Kota Wajar, Hansaland, Shalamar, and Asdrubal departed on Friday, while Mac Aandresew Swala, Lilao, Parsian, Kota Tampan, Wan Hai-312, Altius, PONL Buenos Aires, and Kimon-A are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.110m tons comprising 31,256 tons of export cargo, including 4,275 tons of rice and 1,283 tons of cement and 79,099 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Barge Sapta-1, to load 6,700 tons of cement and Sagamore to offload and load containers.
