Separate stadium for ladies

By Our Correspondent

HYDERABAD, Feb 23: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil announced on Wednesday that a separate cricket ground would be constructed for women cricketers.

He was speaking at prize-distribution-ceremony of final match of an Inter-district women cricket tournament at the PCB Rani Bagh Academy ground.

Jamil said the district government planned various programmes to promote sports and the city would get four new sport grounds.

“We do not lack outstanding women cricketers but this latent talent needs to be exposed,” he said.
