Traders hold protest
ISLAMABAD, Feb 23: Protest demonstrations were staged in different parts of the capital against the arrest of Mian Mohammad Aslam, MNA, and other opposition leaders. The protests were organized by traders community.
Representatives of traders said arresting people for staging protests against the blasphemous cartoons was unconstitutional and undemocratic.
The protesters accused the government of launching a crackdown on its own people just to please the West. They demanded that the detained leaders should be released immediately.— Our Reporter
