KARACHI, Feb 23: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui has directed the Capital City Police Officer to take action against all those station house officers of Karachi having high crime rates in their respective jurisdictions.

He also directed the CCPO to hold inquiry and take legal action against those police functionaries, who reportedly after getting bribed released the accused involved in illegal trade of selling vehicles using fake documents. Similar instructions were given with regard to release of five drug peddlers in Mehmoodabad on payment of graft.

The minister also asked the CCPO for the arrest of killers of a class seven student in Gulshan-i-Hadeed.—PPI
