KARACHI, Feb 23: Three ships including Long He, with 7,800 tons of sugar are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed. They are: Hyundai Future, Kota Tampan, Y.M. Star, Kota Wajar and Iran Kordestan to unload and load containers, Banglar Gourab to load rice, Hansaland to unload and load general cargo and Johar to offload crude oil were berthed.

Sailing was also fairly active as nine vessels departed under the lead of Hyundai Future, Argonaut, Jade Trader, Badulu Valley, Swat, Benefit Wisdom, Caribic, Mercs Ruhunu and Stella-M, while Shalamar, Y.M. Star, Iran Kordestan, Kota Wajar, Jaru Bum, Parsian, Asdrubal, Johar, Kota Tampan, Han Shong Men and Eax Sanctity are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.142m tons comprising 23,317 tons of export cargo including 2,789 tons of rice and 950 tons of cement and 0.119m tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Long He, with sugar, Wan Hai-312 and PONL Buenos Aires, with containers.
