ISLAMABAD, Feb 22: The Islamabad Tennis Academy (ITA) junior hardcourt tennis tournament which was to open on Thursday has been put back for a week.

Organiser Mushaf K. Zia said on Wednesday that the event had to be delayed because of the uncertain situation in Islamabad.

A final date for the start of the tournament will be announced soon. The tournament is organised every six weeks and the events to be contested this time are boys’ 11 and under (singles), boys’ 13 and under (singles), boys’ 17 and under (singles and doubles) and ladies singles.
