Participation in Hannover fair lauded

ISLAMABAD, Feb 22: Participation in the Hannover industrial fair is a commendable initiative taken by the minister for industries and production. This was given a much-needed exposure to Pakistani entrepreneurs that will go a long way in making their products world competitive.

“The German government will extend all kind of assistance to Pakistani exhibitors taking part in the fair,” said German Ambassador Dr Christoph Brummer in a meeting with Industries and Production Minister Jahangir Khan Tareen here on Wednesday.

The minister told the ambassador that his ministry had established a Tools, Dies and Moulds Centre in Karachi whose inauguration would be done very soon. “We want to set up five more such centres in the country. German technological and financial assistance is required for setting up these centres,” said Mr Tareen.
