PFF names squad for Asian Cup

PESHAWAR, Feb 21: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced 27-member squad for the forthcoming clash against Jordan in the Group ‘C’ qualifying round of the 14th Asian Football Cup to be played on Wednesday in the Jordanian capital Amman.

PFF provided a list of 27 players to Asian Football Confederation (AFC) out of which 20 will be selected for the contest.

Salman Ahmed Sharida will be the coach of Pakistan team while Muhammad Shmlan al Shmlan will be his assistant.

Goalkeeper Jaffar Khan will lead Pakistan while other players are:

Muhammad Imran, Gulzar Ahmed, Khalid Munir, Naveed Khan, Imran Hussain, Abid Ali, Faheem Riaz, Farooq Shah, Muhammad Ismail, Abdul Aziz, Aurangzeb, Jameel Ahmed, Misbahul Hassan, Naveed Akram, Zahid Hameed, Muhammad Essa, Javed Hamza, Abdul Ghafoor, Muhammad Waseem, Muhammad Imran, Safi Ullah, Aqeel Ahmed, Usman Gondal, Zeshan Rehman, Kamran Khan and Samar Ishaq.—APP
