FAISALABAD, Feb 19: The government is adopting all out measures to register its strongest possible protest against the blasphemous cartoons at the international forums.

Governor Khalid Maqbool said this while speaking to industrialists, agricultural scientists and students in separate meetings here on Saturday evening.

The governor said the violence would however bring a bad name to the country and Muslim ummah among the world nations. He said the situation should be tackled through positive approach and according to Islamic values.

Meanwhile, some dozen Sunni religion organizations have announced that they would bring out a protest rally against the blasphemous sketches on Monday (today) despite a ban on rallies and processions.

JUP chief and MNA Sahibzada Fazal Karim will lead the rally while representatives of other religious organizations will also participate in it.
