KARACHI: Parents’ role in child’s training stressed

KARACHI, Feb 19: The Home Minister, Rauf Siddiqui, has expressed hope that the country’s future administration would be in the hands of today’s energetic, efficient and intelligent youth.

Addressing a colourful annual programme of certificate distribution and parent’s day at the Crescent Bahria College, Siddiqui said parents played a vital role in training and grooming children, which, he said, was crucial for the progress and development of any nation.

“Luck is with those who pursue education, and against the ones who fail to do so,” he remarked.

The home minister on the occasion announced Rs1,00,000 for the school’s charity fund for deserving students, and as much an amount for teachers on account of imparting education to the students with dedication.

He gave away prizes and commendation certificates to students for their outstanding performances.—APP
