KARACHI, Feb 18: City School Darakhshan stormed into Karachi United school soccer semifinals after a 3-1 victory over Bayview High School at DHA Football ground on Saturday.

City School got off to perfect start when Saif Fawad was on target in the 15th minute before Bayview School’s Danish Nizamani cancelled out the effort three minutes later. Usman Ahmed of City School grabbed the second in the 23rd minute, while Man-of-the-Match Waqas Ahmed wrapped up the proceedings with a 54th-minute strike.

In another quarterfinal, D.A School defeated Foundation Public School 2-0.

Zhanjeb Ahmed slotted home the first in the second minute. Both sides were reduced to ten players in the 55th minute when Danish Khan of Foundation Public and Rehman Iqbal of D.A School were red carded. Ali Mohsin netted the second in the dying moments of the game. — Sports Reporter
