PCB women’s cricket tournament

LAHORE, Feb 18: Four matches will be played on Tuesday in the first round of the PCB Lahore women’s cricket tournament at different grounds. In all, 14 schools, clubs and colleges are competing in the tournament. Seven matches will be played in the first round on Tuesday and Wednesday. The winners will qualify for the second round to be held on Thursday.

A team will also enter the second round after getting bye making it eight-team round. The winners of the second round will move to the semifinals the schedule of which will be announced later.

The matches will be of 25-overs-a-side and the tournament will be played on knock out basis.

Following teams are featuring: Salamat ICAS, Bloomfeld Hall School, Garrison College, Islamia College, Crescent Club, PUTDD, Government Wahdat Road College, Oriental College, Secondary School, Cathedral School No.1, Samanabad College, Queen Mary College, Apwa College and Gulberg College.
