Stronger trade relations with UAE stressed


ISLAMABAD, Feb 15: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Chamber of Commerce and its counterpart in Islamabad would jointly take measures for promoting trade between the two countries.

This was stated by UAE chamber General Secretary Ali Bin Abdullah Al Owais in a meeting with officials of the ICCI here on Wednesday. A UAE trade delegation is currently visiting Pakistan to explore ways for increasing bilateral trade between the two countries.

The general secretary said UAE and Pakistan were facing same economic matters and both chambers should take serious measures to further strengthen the bilateral ties.

He said Pakistan’s economy was on the way to progress and economic indicators were positive, attracting the foreign investors.

He also expressed his interest to invest in various sectors.— Our Reporter
