Rs40m relief goods provided by NGO


MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 15: Midland International Aid Trust, a UK-based NGO, has provided relief goods worth Rs40m, including shelters and food stuff, in quake-hit areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir since the October 8 earthquake.

This was said by Khawaja Mohammad Aslam, Coordinator of the trust, at a meet the press programme at the press club here Wednesday.

Mr Aslam said that his organization was providing uniforms and books to students of various schools, besides extending help in health and education sectors of quake-ravaged areas of AJK.—APP
