KARACHI, Feb 15: Habib Bank has promoted its 850 clerical staff to officer grade III. The promotions, made for the first time, were strictly on the basis of a totally transparent process.

The selection has been made on the merit criteria, which was independently evaluated by the Institute of Bankers Pakistan.

The bank has also, for the first time, given the promotion benefit by way of 10 per cent increase in the basic salary of all promoted employees.
