Cargo complex progress reviewed


KARACHI, Feb 15: The board of directors of Pakistan International Airlines at a meeting held here on Wednesday reviewed progress of work on construction of a cargo complex at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, which is scheduled to be completed by June 30.

The complex will have the capacity to handle more than 60,000 tons of international and domestic cargo per annum.

The meeting, chaired by PIA Chairman Tariq Kirmani, was attended by Air Marshal (retd) Pervez Akhtar Nawaz, Director General, CAA; Maj. Gen. (retd) Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence; Mr Asad Ali Khan and Syed Mohammad Fazal Agha.
