LONDON, Feb 15: Middle Eastern refiners will increasingly have to compete with plants in Asia to supply Europe with middle distillates such as diesel and jet fuel, an official at Bahrain’s state-owned refiner said.
We expect there will be overinvestment by 2010 in Asia and in the Middle East, Adel Khalil Almoayyed, general manager of marketing at Bahrain Petroleum Co, told an oil conference.—Reuters
