DADU: NFC award termed unfair

DADU, Feb 14: About 300 people took out a procession from Johi to the Dadu press club on Tuesday in protest against what they called injudicious NFC award, construction of dams andmilitary operation in Balochistan.

They were led by Pakistan People’s Party leader Basheer Thaheem and STPP district president Ghulam Qadir Leghari.

They said the oil company BHP was carrying out development work in some selected areas while locals were not provided jobs in the company. —Correspondent
