LAHORE, Feb 13: Tailender Imran Sabir starred in a remarkable ZTBL’s two-wicket victory in the Patron’s Cup Group ‘B’ match against Service Industries at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Monday.

ZTBL were heading for a certain defeat after crashing to 202 for eight in the 39th over while chasing 278.

But Imran, batting at No 9, then had other ideas as he bludgeoned eight fours and four sixes in an unbeaten 75 off only 55 balls to help ZTBL win with only two balls left.

Imran was easily the dominant partner in the unbroken ninth-wicket partnership of 81 with Naeem Anjum (10).

Earlier, Masood Asim (101 off 133 balls) was the major scorer for Service Industries who finished at 277 for six in 50 overs.
