2m saplings to be planted
GILGIT, Feb 13: About two million saplings would be planted in Northern Areas during the spring season tree plantation campaign, official sources said. The sources from the forest department said here on Monday that during the season, two million saplings would be planted in all districts of Northern Areas.
The agriculture department would provide plants from their nurseries during the campaign, they disclosed. Furthermore, all resources would be utilized to mobilize the public and to apprise them of the importance of forestry in the country.—APP
