KARACHI, Feb 13: Sindh Education Minister Dr Hamida Khuhro on Monday directed the authorities concerned to establish a public liaison cell with a view to address the public grievances pertaining to schools.

In a directive issued to the education secretary, she said that it was a general view that the public complaints regarding the education related problems or issues were not being addressed properly.

In this regard, she directed for setting up of a cell under the supervision of additional secretary (general) where people could send their complaints.

Dr Khuhro directed that parents be informed and made aware so as to keep a check over utilization of School Management Committees and other funds released by the government for schools.—APP
