Sultan calls for ‘political high alert’

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Feb 12: Leader of the House in the AJK Legislative Assembly Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has given a call for ‘political high alert’ to the party activists to ensure a stunning victory in the forthcoming AJK polls.

In a telephonic address from London to the Kashmiri refugees settled in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, belonging to the AJK PPP, he predicted land-slide victory for the party in the ensuing elections.

He said the party would give a distinctive surprise of 21st century to Benazir Bhutto by securing some 34 out of the 48 seats in the AJK Assembly. The party will emerge victorious in the polls to achieve a comfortable position to form government, he added.

He said the conspiracies to divide and weaken the party to once again bring Muslim Conference to power would fail.
