TOBA TEK SINGH, Feb 11: A man was killed while four others sustained injuries on Saturday in two accidents. Schoolteacher Rustam Ali and his relative Yaseen, residents of Chak 309-GB, were going to their village from Pirmahal. When they reached near Chak 319 GB, a rashly driven tractor-trolley hit their motorcycle as a result of which Rustam died on the spot while Yaseen suffered serious injuries. He was admitted to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition.

A Multan-bound car rammed into a tractor-trolley on the Toba-Chichawatni Road near Chak 336 GB Saraba. Fortunately the three car riders suffered minor injuries and came out of the car. As soon as they got out, the CNG cylinder of the car exploded and it caught fire.

The car was destroyed completely.

WARNING: The DCO has warned that strict action will be taken against the hotel and marriage hall owners who will serve meals in violation of Supreme Court orders.

He said at a meeting on Saturday only tea or cold drink could be served to the guests in the wedding parties.

He directed union council secretaries and TMOs to ensure the implementation of marriage ordinance.
