2 victims of accident die

KHAIRPUR, Feb 11: Two motorcyclists who were injured in a road accident died here on Saturday morning. According to reports, a speedy car had collided with a motorcycle near the Panj Hatti chowk here on Friday night and injured Ahmed Ali Soomro and Mohammad Younus Soomro.

The injured were admitted to the civil hospital where Ahmed Soomro succumbed to his injuries on Saturday while Younus Soomro died on way to a hospital in Karachi.

Both the deceased were residents of the Garhi Yasin taluka and were said to be nephew and uncle.

They had come to visit their relatives in Khairpur.

The relatives condemned administration of the Khairpur civil hospital for not providing timely and proper treatment to the injured.

TRAINS: Due to non-restoration of the railway track, after a goods train accident near Kotri, the Tezgam and Awami Express trains were stopped at the Khairpur railway station on Saturday.

Activists of the Jamaat Ahl-i-Sunnat provided food to passengers.

RECOVERY: The body of a missing boy has been recovered from the Son Wah regulator of the Mirwah canal near Thari Mirwah on Friday night.

The boy was identified as Ishaque, son of Darya Khan Khaskheli, resident of Abid colony in Khairpur. He was missing for last five days.

The body was handed over to his relatives.
