PESHAWAR, Feb 11: General Ehsan ul Haq, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, on Friday appreciated the performance of the Frontier Corps in the war against terrorism and the measures undertaken by the FC for the well-being of the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

The chairman said this during a visit to the FC headquarters here at Fort Bala Hisar, according to a press release.

He was briefed about security situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan boarder, operational preparedness and welfare of troops.

Later, General Ehsan ul Haq visited various sections of the building and lauded the efforts of the Frontier Corps in maintaining the historical fort in its orginal architectural shape.—APP
