KARACHI: Transfers, postings in Sindh

KARACHI, Feb 11: The government of Sindh has undertaken a large number of transfers and postings in the province of Sindh.

It has posted Dr Asif Zaman Khan, Senior Medical Officer (BS-19), awaiting posting as additional secretary (technical) in the Information Technology Department against an existing vacancy while Ali Ahmed Lund, an officer of the Trade and Commerce Group (BS-19) awaiting posting has been posted as deputy director general (BS-19), Sindh Katchi Abadies Authority against an existing vacancy.

Besides, on recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee No 1 Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, and with the approval of the competent authority, the superintendents (BS-16) and private secretaries (Selection Grade Stenographers BS-16) of the Sindh Secretariat Service have been promoted as section officers (BS-17) on regular basis and transferred/posted as follows.

Abdul Salam, SO (OPS), Education and Literacy Department, is to continue as SO in the same department; Arif Hussain SO (OPS), Irrigation and Power, to continue as SO in the same department; and Muhammad Ahmed has been transferred from PS to Secretary Population Welfare to SO, Irrigation and Power Department, against an existing vacancy.

Jamal Muhammad Arif has been transferred from PS Finance to SO, Irrigation and Power Department, against an existing vacancy; M Abdullah Ausi, SO (OPS), S&GAD, to continue as SO (Admn), SGA&C Department; and Imam Ali Baloch, SO (OPS), Home, to continue as so.

Feroze Qaiser Suhag, SO (OPS), Education, to continue as SO, Education and Literacy Department; Syed Irtiza Ali, SO (OPS), Local Government, to continue as SO, Local Government Department; and Ghulam Nabi, SO (OPS), Labour, to continue as SO, Labour and Transport Department.

Ghulam Hyder Pario, SO (OPS), Local Government, to continue as SO, Local Government Department; Shamsuddin Kalhoro, SO (OPS), Agriculture, to continue as SO, Agriculture Department; and Muhammad Tariq Gazdar, SO (OPS), Home, to continue as SO, Home Department.

Syed Mehboob Ali from PS to Minister Health to SO, Education and Literacy Department, against an existing vacancy; Syed Saadat Ali, SO (OPS), Labour, to continue as SO, Labour, Transport and Industries Department; and M Sidique Soomro, SO (OPS), Finance, to continue as SO, Finance Department.

Munawar Ahmed Memon, SO (OPS), Food, to continue as SO, Food Department; Ghulam Shabbir Mangi, SO (OPS), CM’s Secretariat, to continue as SO, Chief Minister’s Secretariat; and Abdul Hanan Shaikh, PS to Education Minister, to continue as PS to Minister for Education and Literacy.

Muhammad Zia Abbas from PA to DS (B&A), SGA&CD to SO (C-II), SGA&CD vice Wajid Ali, transferred; Muhammad Ali, SO (OPS), S&GAD to continue as SO (R-III), SGA&C Department; and Muhammad Ayub from APO Protocol Cell to SO (Dev), SGA&CD vice Muhammad Umar Soomro, transferred; and Akbar Ali, SO (OPS), Home, to continue as SO, Home Department.

Further, Wajid Ali, SO (Coordination-II) Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, has been transferred and posted as SO, Education and Literacy Department, against an existing vacancy.

Muhammad Umar Soomro, SO (Dev), Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, has been transferred and posted as SO, Education and Literacy Department, against an existing vacancy.
