KARACHI, Feb 10: The trials to select different men’s and women’s teams of Karachi University for the coming Sindh Universities Sports Gala will commence at the campus from Saturday.

The men’s will feature in five competitions namely basketball, badminton, table tennis, football and shootingball while women’s will compete in badminton, basketball and table tennis.

Sindh University, Jamshoro, will play host to the sports gala from Feb 28 to March 2.

The director physical education, Karachi University, has asked principals of affiliated colleges, to send best players for the trials.

The players have been advised to report to assistant director, physical education, Mrs. Abida Shaheen, at the Karachi University gymnasium.

Schedule: (All trials will start at 11.00am).

Men’s: Basketball Feb 11; badminton, table tennis, football Feb 13; shootingball Feb 14.

Women’s: Badminton, basketball, table tennis Feb 14.
