Basketball: Inspired display by Zain, Jack
KARACHI, Feb 7: Energetic Zain Tariq smashed 30 points as Neighbourhood Sharks overcame Neighbourhood Wolves 43-40 after a tough fight in AKU Inter-club basketball tournament on Monday at Sports Center Gymnasium.
In other matches of the day, Bounce Club and CHN registered victories after winning their respective matches.
Bounce Club recorded a stunning victory over fancied Aga Khan University 59-33 after Abdullah scored 14 points for the victors.
Jack Jian spurred CHN with 26 points in overwhelming Ziauddin Medical University 71-43 to record first victory of the tournament.—PPI
