KARACHI: Judicial probe into custodial deaths ordered
KARACHI, Feb 7: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqi has ordered judicial inquiry into all cases of deaths of prisoners since July 1, 2004 in Sindh prisons.
In a letter to Home Secretary, the minister directed him to immediately contact the Registrar of the Sindh High Court for conducting judicial inquiry to ascertain facts and initiate departmental action against those found responsible.—APP
