KARACHI: Anti-polio campaign

KARACHI, Feb 6: Sindh Health Minister Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani on Monday noted with optimism that Sindh registered no polio case during the last 16 months but warned that the paralyzing menace could hit back as witnessed in Egypt and Yemen. Addressing EDOs from 23 districts of Sindh and town health officers of Karachi here at a local hotel, he urged them to work with dedication and commitment for three more years in order to completely eradicate polio from the province.—PPI
